Meet Our Team
About Us
Lauren and I met in college at San Diego State University. We were taking art classes and worked on a few projects together. We started spending some time together outside of class and then 8 years went by before I proposed. We got married on Koh Samui in Thailand on February 2nd, 2024. Since then, we have been actively working nonstop to start a business while also working long hours.
Lauren is a truly talented graphic designer. She currently works at Chronicle Books. And she helped me create my simple idea of selling honey into the Heritage Hives brand you see today.

I on the other hand didn't follow a typical career path and somehow wound up loving working with bees. It is intensive and laborious work that I currently feel in my lower back, but I feel like I'm helping our world with these magnificent pollinators while also giving people a natural allergy relieving sweet substance that is delicious.

I learned everything I know, (mostly everything) from Oliver Frank. He has been a beekeeper in the Bay Area for over 40 years. I currently work with him to maintain hives for several high-profile clients and provide them with the honey their hives produce.

I have set up hives at some of Lauren's family properties in the Bay Area and my family friends. I currently sell the small batches of honey these hives produce. We have plans to expand or even open up a store, but great things take time.​
